Father Rajesh’s Background

His unique path to priesthood began later in life, at the age of 30, after he had already ventured into various business endeavors and actively engaged with the Jesus Youth ministry. Through this ministry, he forged connections with street children and those abandoned in impoverished colonies.
A Divine Calling
At the age of 25, Father Rajesh’s heart was touched by a profound calling during his involvement in these ministries. He realized his mission was to become a priest of Christ. This divinerevelation was solidified during a life-altering retreat at the NRC retreat center in Kulathuvayal. The insights gained during this retreat, combined with the spiritual experiences throughout his life’s journey, drew him closer to a life devoted to serving God.

Father Rajesh’s dedication to the priesthood is deeply rooted in the teachings of the Bible. He believes that 1 John 3:16, which speaks of knowing love through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, calls him to emulate Christ’s selflessness. He strives to offer his life as a humble offering, dedicating his time and resources to those who are mentally ill and destitute.
